We Are a Farm-Based Respite Care Registered NDIS Provider
We have a property about 10 acres in size, with a large dam, plenty of native trees, and fruit trees that draw a variety of birds and other wildlife creatures together. We offer the following farm-based services:
Gordon Farm Accommodation
The property has a stunning view of a Black Hill and mature trees that serve as a breeding place for many species of birds, with Kookaburras being the most common. A hotel, a café, and a few shops are all conveniently nearby on foot. We have a wide range of gregarious animals anxiously awaiting your attention. Interacting with the animals, feeding them, and learning the foundations of animal care will allow you to obtain practical experience.
The facility provides all meals, bed sheets, and blankets except personal toiletries. It is strongly advised that visitors bring extra clothes for their trip. For wintertime stays, a warm jacket is advised whenever practical. Visitors must bring their amenities, including, but not limited to, a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, sanitary items, shaving equipment as required, and disposable pads or continence aids as needed.
Gordon Farm Activities
Even though there is a lot to do while visiting, activities are created to take each person who uses the respite service’s interests and abilities into account. Our guests can participate in entertaining and exciting activities like feeding and caring for animals, egg hunting, gardening tasks, animal grooming, animal feeding, cooking farm-fresh produce, stargazing at night, roasting marshmallows over the fire, and BBQs, as well as craft sessions using farm-found materials like trees, leaves, bark, seed pods, and feathers.
